I’m so glad you found your way here.
If you’re reading this, there’s a good chance you’ve been carrying more than most people can see—quietly, bravely, and often alone. My name is Kris, and I’m a Licensed Psychotherapist and the founder of Village Wellness Center. I created this space for women and caregivers who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of who they are beneath all the roles they hold. For those navigating pregnancy, the postpartum period, long-term caregiving, or major family transitions, life can begin to feel like something you’re pushing through rather than truly living—and it doesn’t have to stay that way.
Village Wellness Center grew out of years of listening deeply to mothers, women, and caregivers who felt they had lost their sense of self and their sense of support. I heard the same quiet questions again and again: Why does this feel so hard? Why do I feel so alone? When will I feel like myself again? Often, these feelings are intertwined with changing family dynamics, the weight of difficult life decisions, or grief and loss in its many forms. This may include the heartbreak of miscarriage or infertility, the death of a loved one, or the quieter, often unseen grief of ambiguous loss—mourning what never was, what has changed, or what may never be resolved. These experiences can be isolating and deeply personal, and they deserve care, space, and compassion.
To those who are pregnant, postpartum, or have been caring for others for a long time:
I see you. I see the exhaustion that doesn’t always lift with rest, the love that runs deep alongside fear, guilt, or sorrow, and the way grief can live quietly in the body and mind. Whether you’re navigating perinatal or postpartum mood challenges, fertility or birth-related trauma, the loss of a pregnancy, a loved one, or a sense of identity, or the ongoing uncertainty that comes with ambiguous loss, your experience is valid. You do not need to minimize it or make sense of it right away. You deserve support that is gentle, informed, and centered on you—not just on the roles you fulfill.
Like you, I am many things. I have known both joy and hardship, strength and vulnerability. I understand what it means to walk through expected life paths as well as unexpected detours and losses. My role is not to fix or rush your healing, but to walk alongside you—to help you process grief, navigate change, and slowly reconnect with yourself at a pace that feels safe and supportive.
It is an honor to sit with my clients in their most tender moments, to help them see their worth when it feels distant, and to hold hope for them until they can hold it for themselves. If you’re ready—or even just beginning to wonder—I would be honored to support you.
If you’d like to talk, I’m here to listen. Reach out when you’re ready, and let’s take the next step together. You are not broken. You are not alone. And healing is possible.
